Description
This Vacqueyras red wine from Maison Marigny was born in the French appellation of the same name, located in the southern Rhone valley.
It is produced from Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes which are destemmed and then fermented in steel tanks for approx. 24 days. 60% of the wine is subsequently aged in steel tanks, the remainder in wooden barrels for 12 months.
Intense ruby red in color, the nose reveals aromas of red fruit, figs and sweet spices. The sip is elegant, with fine tannins and a long persistence.
Perfect with roasted and grilled red meats.
