Recipe

Mushroom Tart

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Roll out puff pastry onto a baking tray.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté mushrooms and onion until softened.
  3. Spread mushroom mixture over the pastry. Sprinkle with Gruyere cheese.
  4. Drizzle with heavy cream and season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
