Allegrini Valpolicella DOC is a fresh and vibrant red wine from Veneto, Italy. Crafted primarily from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, it offers aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and wildflowers, with hints of spice and almond. The palate is light-bodied and lively, with bright acidity and a clean, fruity finish.

Caprese Salad

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 250g fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Arrange tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving plate, alternating them.
  2. Scatter fresh basil leaves over the top.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately as a light and fresh starter.

Tip: Add a sprinkle of sea salt for extra flavour.
