Antinori Castello della Sala Estate Bramito Chardonnay IGT is a refined expression of Italian Chardonnay from Umbria. This bright, straw-yellow wine offers a beautifully layered bouquet, where delicate white flower blossoms and chamomile mingle with aromas of Golden apples and subtle hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, fully showcasing Chardonnay’s varietal character with a well-balanced structure and an elegant, lingering finish.

Recipe

Pollo al Limone (Lemon Roast Chicken)

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (about 1.5kg)
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (preferably Bramito Chardonnay)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Rub the chicken inside and out with olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices and place additional slices under the skin.
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and pour the white wine over it.
  5. Roast for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, basting occasionally with pan juices.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.

Tip: Serve with roasted potatoes or a fresh green salad for a balanced meal.
