Recipe

Steamed Mussels in White Wine

Ingredients:

  • 1kg fresh mussels, cleaned
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté garlic and shallot until softened.
  2. Add mussels and pour in white wine. Cover and steam for 5-7 minutes until mussels open.
  3. Sprinkle with parsley and season with salt and pepper. Serve warm with crusty bread.
