Kafta Meshwi (Grilled Lamb Kofta)
Ingredients:
- 500g minced lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small sausage-like patties or around skewers.
- Brush with olive oil and grill over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
- Serve with pita bread, yoghurt sauce, and a fresh salad.
Tip: Add a squeeze of lemon over the kofta before serving for extra brightness.
