Description

Collector Rose Red City Sangiovese is a savoury, Tuscan-inspired red with Sangiovese and a little Malvasia Nera.

Sangiovese is the grape of Chianti and Brunello, and Collector takes a traditional approach, blending in some Malvasia Nera as Tuscan growers have done for generations. The wine shows spiced redcurrant, mulberry and tobacco, followed by cherries, hints of tar and firm, savoury tannins.

Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees with pappardelle and ragù, bistecca, eggplant parmigiana or hard cheeses. The firm tannins make it a great wine for the table.
