Dalrymple Single Site Ouse Pinot Noir 2023

Dalrymple Single Site Ouse Pinot Noir is a savoury, sour-cherry-driven Pinot Noir from Tasmania's Central Highlands.

The Ouse vineyard lies inland in the upper Derwent Valley, far from Dalrymple's northern base, and gives a distinctive, savoury style of Pinot Noir. In 2023 the addition of the 777 clone brought a darker fruit element and a hint of rose petal. The site's signature savoury tannins, sour cherry and cola are balanced by natural acidity and a seductive texture.

Try it at around 15 to 17 degrees with roast pork, mushroom ragù or charcuterie. It will reward a few years in the cellar.
