Domaine André Perret St Joseph Blanc is a fresh and aromatic white wine from the Northern Rhône, France. Quiche aux Poireaux (Leek Quiche)

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made shortcrust pastry
  • 3 leeks, sliced and cleaned
  • 3 eggs
  • 200ml cream
  • 100g grated Gruyère
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Blind bake the pastry for 10 minutes and set aside.
  2. Sauté leeks in butter until soft, then spread evenly in the pastry base.
  3. Whisk eggs, cream, seasoning, and nutmeg together, then pour over leeks.
  4. Top with grated Gruyère and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set.
  5. Serve warm or cold with a glass of St Joseph Blanc for a deliciously regional pairing.
