Description
Description
Domaine Bernard Baudry Chinon Rosé is a beautifully precise and mineral-driven rosé from the Loire Valley, crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc and certified organic.
Sourced from a blend of sites in Chinon - including gravel soils in Grézeaux and the higher-altitude Les Balais vineyard with clay and flint (silex) soils - this wine balances ripe fruit with striking freshness and mineral cut. The shift toward flint-rich fruit brings tension and structure, elevating the wine beyond a simple rosé.
Hand-harvested and made using the pressurage method, the delicate colour comes from minimal skin contact. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in a mix of concrete and stainless steel, followed by time on lees without added sulphur before bottling - preserving purity and texture.
Fresh, textural and quietly sophisticated - a Loire rosé with real intent. Perfect with seafood, charcuterie, salads or long lunches in the sun.
