Magret de Canard au Miel et Épices (Duck Breast with Honey and Spices)
Ingredients:
- 2 duck breasts
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crisscross pattern and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the duck breasts skin-side down. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the duck breasts and set aside to rest. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add honey, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Slice the duck breasts and drizzle the honey-spice sauce over the top.
