Domaine Combier Crozes-Hermitage 'Cuvée L' Syrah 375mL is a small-format version of one of the most expressive Syrahs from the Northern Rhône. If you love pure, unadulterated, concentrated Syrah, look no further. The modern winery, built in 1990, is situated on the busy N7 between Tain l'Hermitage and Pont de l'Isère. It is here that Laurent Combier, a practical and open-minded winemaker, produces his lush, rich, and vibrant wines. Organically farmed, the fruit is sourced from 13 hectares of vineyards located on the renowned Les Chassis plateau. This half-bottle offers all the depth and freshness of Syrah in a convenient and versatile size.

Gratin Dauphinois (Creamy Potato Bake)
Ingredients:
- 1kg waxy potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 300ml cream
- 100ml milk
- Butter for greasing
- Salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a gratin dish with butter and rub with garlic.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in the dish, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Mix the cream and milk, pour over the potatoes, and bake covered with foil for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until golden. Serve with roast meats or lentils and a glass of Domaine Combier Crozes-Hermitage 'Cuvée L' Syrah 375mL.
