- 2 cups ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: A drizzle of balsamic glaze
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast until lightly golden, about 5–7 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes and chopped basil with olive oil, salt, and pepper; mix gently.
