- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the cod for 2–3 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.

- Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the cod fillets, then transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 5–7 minutes, until the fish is just cooked through.
