Domaine Roblet-Monnot Volnay 'Taillepieds' 1er Cru is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir from one of the most respected premier cru climats in the village of Volnay, in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune.

Volnay is prized among Burgundy's red wine villages for producing some of the region's most fragrant and finely structured Pinot Noir, its gently sloping vineyards of limestone and marl favouring elegance and perfume over sheer power. Domaine Roblet-Monnot is a small family estate based in the village, tending parcels across several of Volnay's finest premier cru sites and working its vines with a careful, hands-on approach in both vineyard and cellar.

The result is a wine that speaks as much of its place as its variety - a refined, savoury red suited to roast poultry, mushroom dishes and the table in general.
