Domaine Yves Cuilleron Marsanne 2025

Domaine Yves Cuilleron Marsanne is a textured, dry single-varietal white from the hills of the northern Rhône.

Granite slopes near Chavanay, just outside the Saint-Joseph boundary, supply the fruit, so it is bottled under the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes and priced well below the appellation wines. That designation covers the country around and beyond the named crus. Cuilleron has farmed here sustainably since the mid-1980s. The winemaking mirrors the crus with a lighter touch: whole-bunch pressing, fermentation in tank and older barrels, then fine lees to build texture without letting oak intrude.

Gently waxy and mid-weight, with stone fruit, a hint of almond and a dry, saline finish. Try it at 10–12°C with roast pork, creamy pasta, grilled chicken or soft cheese.
