Famille Hugel Gentil is a charming and aromatic white wine from Alsace, France. A blend of Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, and Sylvaner, it offers aromas of lychee, white flowers, citrus, and stone fruits. The palate is light-bodied with lively acidity, a hint of sweetness, and a crisp, refreshing finish.

Recipe

Thai Green Curry

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp green curry paste
  • 1 can (400mL) coconut milk
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers)
  • 200g tofu or chicken, cubed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Fresh basil and lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add curry paste and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Stir in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add vegetables and tofu or chicken. Cook until tender.
  4. Season with fish sauce and sugar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with steamed rice.

Tip: Adjust spice level by adding more or less curry paste.
