Recipe

Duck Breast with Orange Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 duck breasts
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Score the skin of the duck breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook duck skin-side down until crispy. Flip and cook the other side for 3–4 minutes. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, combine orange juice, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
  5. Slice the duck breast and serve with the orange sauce.

Tip: Garnish with orange zest for added aroma.
