Steamed Mussels with Garlic and White Wine
Ingredients:
- 1kg fresh mussels, cleaned
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Crusty bread, for serving
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add mussels and white wine. Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes, shaking the pot occasionally, until mussels open.
- Discard any unopened mussels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with crusty bread.
Tip: Add a pinch of chilli flakes for extra heat.
