Joh Jos Prüm Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese comes from the continuation of the Wehlen sundial slope, downstream at Zeltingen.

Zeltinger Sonnenuhr picks up where Wehlener Sonnenuhr leaves off, on the same steep bank of blue Devonian slate, and it has long been part of the Joh. Jos. Prüm holdings alongside Wehlen and Graach. It is the least often seen of the estate's sites in Australia, which makes it worth attention. At Spätlese level the wines remain light in body while flavour intensity and depth of character rise markedly over the Kabinett: more flesh, more power and the balance to stand up to richer food, rather than any real sweetness. The Prüms describe the style as charming and classic at once. Fermentation is slow and cool in the estate's cellars, the wines keep their natural sugar and finish low in alcohol, and bottling is unhurried.

Approachable now, with the structure for two decades or more. Serve at 8–10°C with pork belly, roast quail or a soft, mild cheese.
