Kooyong Estate Chardonnay 375ml 2023

Kooyong Estate Chardonnay 375ml is a half-bottle of Kooyong's estate-grown Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay.

Sea breezes and a long, mild growing season give Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay its fine acidity and delicacy. Kooyong grows the fruit on its own vineyards and builds texture through careful lees ageing, with oak used to support the fruit. The 2023 is brightly aromatic, with lime, grapefruit, citrus blossom and white stone fruit, plus cashew, nougat and flint. The palate is long and detailed, with lovely tension, a creamy mid-palate and a crisp, lively finish.

The smaller bottle is ideal for a weeknight dinner for two. Serve well chilled with seared scallops, a smoked trout salad or chicken schnitzel.
