Description

KT Riesling 5452 is a classic dry Watervale Riesling from Kerri Thompson in the Clare Valley.

This is the core wine of the range, named after the local postcode. It's fermented cool in stainless steel and bottled young to hold on to the florals and fine acidity Watervale is known for. Red loam over limestone, a little altitude and cool nights make this southern corner of the Clare one of Australia's great Riesling addresses.

Bone-dry and light-bodied, with lime, blossom and chalky acidity. Lovely now and able to age. Serve at 7–9°C with oysters, Thai dishes or grilled fish.
