La Guardiense Fiano Sannio 2024

La Guardiense Fiano Sannio is a Fiano from the Sannio hills of Campania, in southern Italy.

La Guardiense is a growers' cooperative based in Guardia Sanframondi, in the province of Benevento, and one of the larger wine producers in Campania. Fiano is one of the region's great native white grapes, known for its texture and ability to age. The Sannio's hillside vineyards, inland from Naples, give it freshness, and the wine is made to keep the grape's floral, herbal character clear and bright. This 2024 is straw yellow with green tints, showing white flowers and aromatic herbs, with an elegant, well-balanced palate.

Serve well chilled with spaghetti alle vongole, fried calamari, grilled vegetables or buffalo mozzarella.
