Langmeil Live Wire Barossa Valley Riesling 2025

Langmeil Live Wire Barossa Valley Riesling is a zesty, medium-dry Riesling with a lively spritz.

Riesling has deep roots in the Barossa, brought by Silesian settlers who planted it alongside Shiraz in the nineteenth century. Most of the region's famous dry Rieslings come from the higher Eden Valley, but this one is grown on the Barossa floor and made in a slightly softer style. A touch of the grapes' natural sweetness is kept back to balance Riesling's bright acidity, and the wine is bottled young, fresh and unoaked with a fine prickle of spritz. Lime, Granny Smith apple and a talc-like note carry through to a long, crisp finish.

Chill well and pair with Thai fish cakes, pork belly with a sweet chilli glaze or a spicy green papaya salad, where the hint of sweetness really helps. It is made to drink young.
