Turkey Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients:
- 500g turkey mince
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 cups tomato passata
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Mix turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, Parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Add tomato passata to the pan and bring to a simmer. Return meatballs to the sauce and cook for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve warm with pasta or crusty bread.
