Beef Ragu
Ingredients:
- 500g beef mince
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups tomato passata
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pan. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add beef mince and cook until browned. Deglaze with red wine.
- Stir in tomato passata, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30-40 minutes until thickened.
- Serve over pasta and garnish with fresh basil.
