Description

Pimpernel Hill Road Pinot Noir is a Yarra Valley Pinot Noir from the Horrigan family's vineyard near Coldstream.

Cardiologist Mark Horrigan and his family planted the estate in the early 2000s in the lower reaches of the valley, east of Melbourne. They take a strongly French approach and work from their own vineyard. This Pinot is made in small batches and aged in French oak, aiming for freshness, perfume and red fruit over weight.

Perfumed red and dark cherry, a little spice and fine tannins. Serve a touch cool, 15–16°C, with duck breast, roast pork, salmon or mushroom risotto.
