Stanton & Killeen Chardonnay 2022

Stanton & Killeen Chardonnay is a soft, fruit-driven white from a historic Rutherglen family winery.

Winemaking in this family goes back to the 1870s in Rutherglen, and they're best known for Muscat, Topaque and Vintage Fortified. Hot, dry summers and cool nights ripen the grapes to a rounder style than you'd find in cool coastal regions. It's made to be approachable, with stone fruit and a soft texture, and to drink within a few years of vintage.

Peach and melon on a round, generous palate. Good at 10–12°C with roast chicken, pork, creamy pasta or grilled fish, and best over the next few years while it's fresh.
