Stanton & Killeen Grand Muscat 500ml NV

Stanton & Killeen Grand Muscat is a long-aged Rutherglen fortified from the second-highest tier of the region's classification.

Long, dry autumns in north-east Victoria push Muscat à Petits Grains Rouge to very high sugar. The late-picked grapes are partly fermented, fortified with neutral spirit and left for many years in old oak, where slow evaporation concentrates them. The final blend leans on old reserve stocks, and the family behind it has been in Rutherglen since the nineteenth century.

Dark, dense and layered, with a long raisined finish. Pour 60 ml at 14–16°C with hard aged cheeses, dark chocolate, Christmas pudding or a strong coffee.
