Description
Description
Tenuta di Arceno "Il Fauno" IGT Super Tuscan is a polished Bordeaux-style wine that captures the diversity and warmth of the estate’s lower southwest vineyards in Castelnuovo Berardenga.
Sourced primarily from the Arceno di Sotto, La Curva, Colombaio and San Giovanni blocks, these warmer, early-ripening parcels sit on clay-rich soils with excellent water retention, producing wines of generosity and depth.
The blend is composed of 41% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, aged for 10-12 months in French oak. A mild winter, replenishing spring rains and warm days balanced by cool nights delivered a beautifully structured and aromatic vintage.
Voluptuous yet balanced, Il Fauno embodies the estate’s signature harmony between power and elegance. Perfect with grilled steak, roast lamb or rich pasta dishes.
