Beef Ragù
Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté onion, garlic, carrot, and celery until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in red wine and let it reduce by half.
- Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 45 minutes.
- Serve over pasta or polenta.
