Tenuta Orsumella Chianti Classico DOCG is a vibrant and well-balanced red wine from Tuscany, Italy, crafted predominantly from Sangiovese grapes. This medium-bodied wine offers aromas of cherries, red berries, and a hint of spice, with a refined palate featuring bright fruit, soft tannins, and a touch of earthy complexity, finishing with refreshing acidity.

Recipe

Beef Ragù

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté onion, garlic, carrot, and celery until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in red wine and let it reduce by half.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve over pasta or polenta.
