Tim Smith Roussanne 2025

Tim Smith Roussanne is a textural Barossa white from Roussanne, the Rhône grape prized for weight and savoury complexity.

Few Australian producers bottle Roussanne on its own. It's one of the great whites of the Rhône Valley, valued more for mouthfeel than perfume, and it builds a savoury, nutty edge as it develops in bottle. The fruit here comes from grower vineyards around the Barossa.

Textural and nutty, with pear and stone fruit. Take it out of the fridge a little early (10–12°C is right) and serve with crab, creamy pasta, roast chicken or pork.
