Branzino al Limone (Serves 2)

Branzino al Limone is a simple and elegant Italian preparation of sea bass, cooked with fresh lemon and herbs for a light, aromatic meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 whole branzino (sea bass), cleaned and scaled
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs
  • 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Prepare the Fish: Place the branzino on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper, and stuff each fish with lemon slices, garlic, and fresh herbs.
  3. Drizzle with Olive Oil: Drizzle olive oil over the fish.
  4. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  5. Serve: Garnish with additional lemon slices and serve hot.
