Branzino al Limone (Serves 2)
Branzino al Limone is a simple and elegant Italian preparation of sea bass, cooked with fresh lemon and herbs for a light, aromatic meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 whole branzino (sea bass), cleaned and scaled
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs
- 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Prepare the Fish: Place the branzino on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper, and stuff each fish with lemon slices, garlic, and fresh herbs.
- Drizzle with Olive Oil: Drizzle olive oil over the fish.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Serve: Garnish with additional lemon slices and serve hot.
