Audrey Wilkinson Winemaker's Selection Semillon Museum 2016

Audrey Wilkinson Winemaker's Selection Semillon Museum is an older vintage held at the winery and released with age.

Aged Hunter Semillon is one of the great arguments for cellaring Australian white wine: after a decade the citrus gives way to toast, honey and lanolin, all without the wine ever having seen oak. This bottle has had that time in the winery's own cellars. The fruit came from the estate's Pokolbin vineyards, planted from 1866 onwards.

Serve at 10 degrees with roast chicken, smoked fish or a soft cheese. Drinking well now.
