Audrey Wilkinson Winemaker's Selection Shiraz Museum 2017

Audrey Wilkinson Winemaker's Selection Shiraz Museum is an older vintage cellared at the winery before release.

Hunter Shiraz ages on acidity and fine tannin rather than power, and after several years it takes on leather, earth and dried spice while the fruit softens. This bottle has been held at Pokolbin since bottling. The fruit came from the estate's oldest blocks, on the slopes below the Brokenback Range.

Serve at 17 degrees with slow-cooked beef, game or hard cheese. Drinking well now.
