Bruno Rocca Barbaresco 2022

Bruno Rocca Barbaresco is a Nebbiolo from the heart of the appellation, at Rabajà in the commune of Barbaresco.

Barbaresco lies east of Alba on the right bank of the Tanaro, where the river moderates the climate and brings harvest forward compared with Barolo, giving Nebbiolo slightly softer tannin and an earlier drinking window. The estate is based in the Rabajà district, one of the most highly regarded crus in the zone, on calcareous marl. Fermentation is with native yeast and ageing in oak before the appellation's mandatory time in bottle.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with braised beef, risotto or aged Parmigiano. It develops over fifteen years.
