Bubb + Pooley Riesling 2024

Bubb + Pooley Riesling is a dry Tasmanian Riesling from a small family label with deep roots in the island's cool south.

Bubb + Pooley is the Tasmanian label of winemaker Anna Pooley and her partner Justin Bubb, working alongside the family's Pooley Wines in southern Tasmania. Tasmania is the coolest wine state in Australia, and its long, mild growing season suits Riesling particularly well, building flavour slowly while holding the natural acidity the grape relies on. The fruit is picked for freshness, fermented cool in stainless steel to keep the focus on the grape and the site, and bottled young under screwcap to preserve its purity.

Crisp and precise, it is a natural match for oysters, Thai salads and lightly spiced seafood; serve well chilled at around 8 degrees.
