Cantina del Pino Barbaresco 'Albesani' is a single-vineyard Nebbiolo from one of Barbaresco's most respected historic crus, offered here in a large-format Jeroboam bottle.

Cantina del Pino is a small, family-run estate based in Treiso, within the Barbaresco appellation of Piedmont's Langhe hills. Founded by the late Renato Vacca and continued by his family, the winery farms parcels within the Albesani cru, a site also worked by several of the zone's most respected producers, on the clay-and-limestone slopes that give Barbaresco its perfume and finesse. The estate favours a traditional approach, with long macerations and large old-oak botti rather than heavy new wood, aiming to let the Albesani site speak clearly through the wine.

This is a wine built for patience, elegant and structured in the classic Barbaresco idiom, and well suited to slow-cooked meats, truffle dishes or aged cheeses, with the large-format bottle offering a slower, more graceful evolution over time.
