Cantina del Pino Nebbiolo Langhe is the entry point into this respected Barbaresco producer's range, made in a fresher, earlier-drinking style than the estate's cru wines.

Cantina del Pino is based in Treiso, in the heart of the Barbaresco zone within Piedmont's Langhe hills, an area whose clay-and-limestone soils and cool hillside sites are prized for Nebbiolo. Founded by the late Renato Vacca and carried on by his family, the estate is known for a traditional, hands-on approach across its range, and its Langhe Nebbiolo typically draws on younger vines and declassified fruit from the same Barbaresco-zone vineyards used for the estate's more serious bottlings. It offers a genuine view of the producer's style and terroir at a more accessible level.

This is a bright, food-friendly red that shows Nebbiolo's savoury, high-toned character without the weight of the estate's top wines, good with pasta, cured meats or simple roasted dishes.
