Cantine Petrosino Grillo DOC is a fresh and aromatic white wine from Sicily, Italy, crafted from 100% Grillo grapes. This light to medium-bodied wine offers vibrant aromas of citrus, tropical fruits, and white flowers, with a crisp palate featuring notes of lemon zest, green apple, and a touch of salinity, balanced by lively acidity and a refreshing finish.

Recipe

Zucchini Fritters

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchinis, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Place grated zucchini in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10 minutes to release moisture. Squeeze out excess liquid.
  2. In a bowl, mix zucchini, egg, flour, Parmesan, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and flatten slightly.
  4. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm with a dollop of yoghurt or sour cream.
