Description
Cesari Bosan Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva is the estate's single-vineyard Amarone, offered here as a back vintage.
Amarone is made by drying the harvested grapes for several months before they are pressed, a method known as appassimento, which concentrates the fruit and gives a dry red of great richness. Bosan is the name of the Cesari family's vineyard, and the wine is made from Corvina and Rondinella and given long ageing in oak and in bottle before release. Cesari was founded in 1936 and was among the first to take Amarone to an international audience.
A rich, mature red for braised beef, game, hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano, or on its own after dinner. Decant and serve at around 18 degrees.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
