Cesari Centofilari Lugana DOC 2024

Cesari Centofilari Lugana DOC is a white from the southern shore of Lake Garda, made from the local Turbiana grape.

Lugana is a small appellation straddling the border of the Veneto and Lombardy, on the flat, clay-rich land at the foot of Lake Garda. Its grape, Turbiana, was long known as Trebbiano di Lugana and is related to Verdicchio. The lake moderates the climate and the heavy clay soils give the wines more body and texture than most northern Italian whites. Cesari was founded in 1936 and is best known for its Amarone and Valpolicella wines from the hills around Verona.

A good match for lake and sea fish, risotto, white meats and fresh cheeses; serve at around 10 degrees.
