Chambers Grand Muscadelle 375ml

Chambers Grand Muscadelle is the third of Rutherglen's four fortified tiers, below only Rare.

Grand indicates an average age and concentration well beyond the entry classification, with the wine drawn from old casks that have been slowly concentrating through evaporation in the warm Rutherglen sheds. Muscadelle, formerly Tokay, gives the cold tea and butterscotch character that distinguishes it from Muscat. The Chambers family has farmed here since 1858.

Serve in small glasses at 14 degrees with sticky date pudding, dried figs or hard cheese. An opened bottle keeps for months.
