Chambers Old Cellars Vintage Port 2005

Chambers Old Cellars Vintage Port is a single-vintage fortified red from Rutherglen, bottled young and aged in glass.

Where a tawny spends its life in cask, a vintage fortified is bottled early and matures in bottle, holding its colour and fruit and throwing a sediment over time. The style follows the Douro model. This is an older release from the Chambers cellars at Rutherglen, where the family has made wine since 1858.

Decant off the sediment and serve at 16 degrees with blue cheese, walnuts or chocolate. It will keep for decades.
