Champagne Agrapart Terroirs is a grand cru blanc de blancs built largely on reserve wine, offered here in magnum.

Agrapart farms organically in the Côte des Blancs, and this cuvée is drawn from four of its most respected villages: Avize, Cramant, Oger and Oiry. Vine age matters as much as site here, with the plantings averaging more than 50 years. The release is based on 2019, 2018 and 2017, with reserve wine making up a remarkable 80 per cent of the blend. After natural fermentation, half the wine matured in large-format neutral oak, and the assembled wine then spent more than 36 months on lees. Dosage is held to 5 grams per litre and disgorgement was carried out by hand in March 2023. Organic viticulture, hand disgorgement and that proportion of reserve wine make this a grower Champagne of unusual depth for its level.

Excellent now and will gain from another year or two under cork. Serve at 8°C with oysters, grilled fish or a mature hard cheese.
