Champagne Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé Gift Boxed 2011

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé is the house's prestige rosé, built on Pinot Noir from Grand Cru villages.

Where the Blanc de Blancs is all Chardonnay, the Rosé is led by Pinot Noir from Grand Cru sites on the Montagne de Reims, with a portion of still red wine blended in to give colour, which is the traditional Champagne method rather than bleeding juice off the skins. It is made only in declared vintages and aged at length in the chalk cellars beneath Reims.

Serve at 10 degrees with duck, salmon or game birds. It develops over fifteen years.
