Description
Château La Dominique Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is a Right Bank Bordeaux red, made in the polished, generous style typical of Saint-Émilion's leading classified estates.
Saint-Émilion is one of Bordeaux's oldest and most historic wine regions, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its limestone plateau and clay-gravel slopes. Château La Dominique sits on this plateau, bordering Château Cheval Blanc and Château Figeac on the edge of the Pomerol appellation, and is classified as a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé. Owned by the Fayat family since 1969, the estate is known as much for its meticulous viticulture as for its striking red mirrored-glass winery and rooftop terrace, designed by architect Jean Nouvel.
A refined, food-friendly Bordeaux red, well suited to roast meats and mature cheeses.
