Recipe

Tarte au Citron et Fromage Blanc (Lemon and Fromage Blanc Tart)

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 200g fromage blanc or cream cheese
  • 100g sugar
  • 2 lemons, juiced and zested
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a tart tin with puff pastry and trim the edges.
  2. In a bowl, mix fromage blanc, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, eggs, and flour until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pastry shell and spread evenly.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden.
  5. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
