Coeur des Sages Mâcon Villages Chardonnay 2023

Coeur des Sages Mâcon-Villages is a Chardonnay from southern Burgundy.

The Mâconnais runs south from the Côte Chalonnaise towards Beaujolais, warmer than the Côte d'Or and planted almost entirely to Chardonnay, which gives rounder, earlier-drinking whites at a fraction of the price of the famous villages to the north. The Villages designation covers the better communes. The wine is fermented in tank with little oak.

Serve at 11 degrees with fish, chicken or a creamy pasta. Drink within four years.
