Description

Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Gris comes from the winery's Martinborough terraces.

Pinot Gris suits Martinborough's cool, dry autumns, ripening to a textural, pear-scented white with enough acidity to stay dry rather than turning broad. The Te Muna vineyard sits on gravel terraces above the Huangarua River. The fruit is whole-bunch pressed and fermented cool, with a portion given lees contact for weight.

Serve at 11 degrees with pork, roast chicken or a soft cheese. Drink over the next four years.
